I LEARNT A VERY IMPORTANT LESSON TODAY. NEVER, EVER, EVER, TAKE A CAB OUTSIDE SCHOOL BEFORE THE POLLING DAY AND ESPECIALLY IF YOUR SCHOOL IS ONE OF THE HOLDING SITES. (though it is only once a year) Readers, let me tell you a beautiful fairytale. once upon a time, there were 2 girls named Poon Zhiying and Rachel Chee. Both of them just finished school and couldn't wait to go home. Zhiying happily asked Rachel to walk to the front gate busstop as there wouldn't be as many ppl as at the backgate. So, Rachel happily agrees. After walking awhile, Rachel concluded that it would be the same as the bus would still be travelling the same route. Thus, the amount of ppl will still be the same. So, both of them decided to take a cab. They walk all the way, from the front gate, pass the back gate and walked further down. As a result, both were very, very tired. They stood under the sun, sweating, suffering from the heat and their heavy bags and their legs. HOW PATHETIC. Suddenly, 136 came. It was FILLED with PL students. So they let the bus just flew pass them. After awhile, ANOTHER 136 came. This time with MORE ppl then the first one. So they just let it fly pass them again. They were getting more and more fedup with all the taxi as NONE of them were free. and TWO of the taxi were free, but they just ignored and drive past them like nobody's business. (@#$%^&!)HELLO?! Two ppl here are waving like mad aunties!!! and you just drove past them like noone was there??!!! THEY WANNA SUE THE TAXI COMPANIES!!!! (argh.) So, Zhiying started to complain and grumble and curse every single taxi which drove past them. And she decided to take the next bus that is gonna come. and she is gonna leave Rachel alone. FULLSTOP. JUST LIKE THAT. LEAVE HER ALONE. HOW KIND OF YOU ZHIYING. but luckily, she decided to stay =)) so the story continues. They said they will PRAISE THE LORD if an empty or rather, not-so-many-ppl-136-bus would arrive. And, the Lord heard their cries and He sent them a 136-bus-with-not-so-many-ppl-inside. By that time, those two pathetic ppl had already waited for 1hr. And they both waited for NOTHING. it was as good as waiting at the bus-stop. but those two pathetic ppl waited under the sun, thinking that they could take a cab from there, and suffered. So, both of them boarded the bus, feeling a sense of achievement. (eh..i think this part is a little out. heh.) Zhiying enjoyed the air-con for 5min and alighted. The End.
And yes, Rachel Chee happened to be me =)) How fun huh? I WANNA SUE ALL THE TAXI COMPANIES!!! THEY ALL JUST DROVE PAST US. PAST US!!!!! AHHH!!! AND WE WAITED FOR SO LONG!!!!! @#$%!!! THATS IT. I AM GOING TO THE POLICE STATION TO MAKE A REPORT NOW. >:( Wait for the lawyer's letter companies..HUMPH.
